Healthy Turkey Bacon and Spinach Breakfast Quiche

Start your day right with this delicious and nutritious breakfast quiche featuring lean turkey bacon and flavorful cheese. Packed with protein and essential nutrients, this healthy quiche is perfect for busy mornings or weekend brunch gatherings. Let’s dive into the recipe:

Ingredients:

6 slices of turkey bacon, diced

1/2 onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper, diced (any color of your choice)

1 cup spinach, chopped

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free milk alternative)

1/2 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or mozzarella)

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing the baking dish

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or quiche pan with cooking spray or olive oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the Turkey Bacon:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced turkey bacon until it is crispy and golden brown. Transfer the cooked bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease. Set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables:

In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and diced bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are soft and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes. Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the spinach wilts. Remove from heat and set aside.

    This looks really good. However, it does not mention using a pie crust anywhere yet a pie crust is definitely shown in the picture.

    It looks and sounds great, but in the picture the quiche has a crust but the recipe has no mention of using a pie crust. Without a crust is going to be lower calorie of course, so I assume that’s how it’s supposed to be. The picture doesn’t match the recipe.
