Cinnabon Mug Cake
Yields: 1 serving Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 1-2 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
Instructions:
- Combine dry ingredients: In a mug, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add wet ingredients: Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add cinnamon and brown sugar: Sprinkle the cinnamon and brown sugar evenly over the batter.
- Microwave: Cook in the microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Serve: Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with a dollop of cream cheese frosting, if desired.
Optional frosting:
- 1/4 cup softened cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
